Critical Limit of Boron in Soil and Cauliflower

Boron plays an important role in crop nutrition. Cauliflower expresses its sensitivity towards boron application which ultimately decides the potential of yield and quality curds. In this study, we presented assessment critical level soil concentration by graphical statistical procedures using cauliflower as a test crop. Thirty (30) samples collected from three rice growing sub-division Imphal-west district were used for conducting pot experiment. The experiment was laid out Completely Randomized Design with six treatments replicated thrice. setting follows: T0= Control, T1= 0.5 mg B kg-1 soil, T2= 1 T3= 1.5 T4= 2 T5= 2.5 soil. plants harvested at curd formation stage estimation limits boron. plant found to be 0.46 24.50 kg-1, respectively, procedure, whereas procedure it 0.45 24.59 plant, respectively. It evident that worked both procedures, i.e., graphically statistically, closely related. These values may predict response applied range between deficiency toxicity is little, therefore utmost care management should taken.
